Having surrendered the Scudetto to Inter Milan last weekend, Juventus host top-four rivals AC Milan at the Allianz Stadium on Sunday.

Third-place Juventus sit level with fourth-place Milan on 69 points – 13 points behind newly-crowned Serie A champions Inter.

Given that Juve have only managed to win 20 of their 34 league games this season, it is hardly surprising that Andrea Pirlo’s men missed out on the title.

At the end of the day, Juventus have not been able to keep pace with Inter this term and could yet miss out on a place in the top four.

With fifth-place Napoli just two points behind, Juventus can’t afford to drop points on Sunday, or they could find themselves outside the Champions League spots.

Juve came from behind to beat Udinese 2-1 last weekend, thanks in large part to a late brace from Cristiano Ronaldo.

Remarkably, the 36-year-old has scored 27 goals in 30 league matches this season and sits six goals clear of Inter’s Romelu Lukaku in the Serie A goalscoring charts.

Juve head into Sunday’s showdown on a three-match unbeaten streak, although they have lost two of their previous eight outings.

On the other hand, AC Milan were leading the way for much of the season, but they have lost their way in recent months.

Milan didn’t lose any of their opening 15 league games this term. However, they have since lost seven of their past 19.

Back-to-back defeats to Sassuolo and Lazio last month all but ended Milan’s chances of winning the title.

Stefano Pioli’s side managed to beat Benevento 2-1 last weekend, although Inter’s victory over Crotone saw the blue half of Milan clinch the Scudetto.

Head-to-head: Juventus beat Milan 3-1 at San Siro back in January, with Federico Chiesa bagging a brace on that occasion.

However, AC Milan have only lost one of their previous four meeting with Juve, claiming one win and two draws in that time.

Team news: Juventus only have one injury doubt for Sunday’s clash, with centre-back Merih Demiral currently on the treatment table.

AC Milan have no injury concerns at the moment. Samu Castillejo could come back into the side after missing last weekend’s game through suspension.

Neither of these sides have enjoyed much success in recent weeks, but Juventus are expected to get the better of off-form Milan.

Forebet predicts that Juventus will claim all three points on Sunday, scoring over 2.5 goals in the process.
