Arsenal and Everton kick off Matchday 33 of the 2020/21 Premier League season at the Emirates Stadium on Friday night.

Just three points separate the two sides in the table, with eighth-place Everton currently leading ninth-place Arsenal.

The Gunners needed a 97th-minute goal from Eddie Nketiah to snatch a 1-1 draw against Fulham last time out.

Despite enjoying 70% possession against the relegation strugglers, Mikel Arteta’s men were wasteful throughout the match.

Arsenal have only managed to win one of their last four Premier League games, recording two draws and one loss in that time.

However, the managed to book their spot in the Europa League semi-finals with ease last week, overcoming Slavia Prague 5-1 on aggregate.

If the Super League doesn’t go ahead, Arsenal’s best chance of Champions League football for next season would be by winning the Europa League.

Having suffered losses to Chelsea and Burnley last month, three straight draws mean that Everton have failed to win any of their previous five league matches.

Crystal Palace, Brighton and Tottenham have all taken points off the Toffees in April, denting the club’s top-four hopes in the process.

Looking at the bigger picture, Carlo Ancelotti’s men have only managed to win three of their last 11 Premier League outings.

Everton dominated possession and racked up 18 shots against Spurs, yet they threw away their lead and eventually drew 2-2 last time out.

The Toffees have clear missed Dominic Calvert-Lewin recently, as the England striker has been in and out of the side through injury.

Head-to-head: Everton clinched a 2-1 win over Arsenal back in December, with Calvert-Lewin netting the winning goal.

However, it is worth noting that Everton have only managed to win two of their previous eight league games against Arsenal.

Team news: David Luiz, Kieran Tierney and Alexandre Lacazette are all injured for Arsenal, while Martin Odegaard and Pierre-Emerick Aubameyang are both doubts.

Everton will be without midfield duo Abdoulaye Doucoure and Jean-Philippe Gbamin on Friday, although Calvert-Lewin could be available.

With both Arsenal and Everton struggling for consistency at the moment, this is like to be a cagey match with limited goalscoring opportunities.

Forebet predicts that Arsenal and Everton will produce a low-scoring draw on Friday night.
