Bayern Munich are in a Bundesliga title fight with five points separating them from second-place RB Leipzig. The Bavarians looked to have dispatched Die Roten Bullen once and for all.
However, a 1-1 draw against Union Berlin last weekend has given RB Leipzig further hope.
Hansi Flick’s team not only drew with Union Berlin last weekend, but they were eliminated from the Champions League on Tuesday night by Paris Saint-Germain.

Now, Bayern Munich have a difficult stretch that will see them play an in-form Wolfsburg who sit third in the Bundesliga followed by a reborn Bayer Leverkusen.
Wolfsburg have surprised onlookers this season with their performances. Coach Oliver Glasner has led the Wolves to third place and they are almost assured of Champions League football for next season.
With six games to play Wolfsburg are eight points ahead of fifth-place Borussia Dortmund.
Eleven points separate Wolfsburg and Bayern Munich. If the Wolves can manage a victory, it would make the final few weeks of the Bundesliga campaign quite interesting.
Defeating Bayern Munich is easier said than done, however. Wolfsburg have not defeated Bayern Munich since the 2014-15 Bundesliga season.
The clubs have played 14 times in all competitions since that victory with Bayern Munich winning or drawing each fixture.
Earlier this season, Bayern Munich won 2-1 at the Allianz Arena. Wolfsburg went in front in the third minute through midfielder Max Philipp. Robert Lewandowski scored in the 45th and 50th minutes to give Bayern Munich the lead and victory.
Lewandowski will not play this weekend as he is still rehabbing a knee ligament injury. His absence has shown just how dependent Bayern Munich are on the striker to score goals.
Against Paris Saint-Germain in midweek, Bayern Munich tallied 14 shots with five on target, yet scored just once.
Last weekend, Wolfsburg conceded four times to Eintracht Frankfurt in a seven-goal thriller. It was the first time in 2020-21 that Wolfsburg had conceded more than 2.0 goals in a game.
Glasner will have Paulo Otavio available after last week’s suspension. Jerome Roussillon could start at left-back once more, however.
Maximilian Arnold is suspended, which is big blow. Meanwhile, captain Josuha Guilavogi, Renato Steffen and Admir Mehmedi are all injured.
Bayern Munich left-back Alphonso Davies will return following a suspension. Serge Gnabry is still not over a COVID-19 positive test and Niklas Sule is ruled out. Leon Goretzka is fit to start.
Die Roten’s unbeaten run against Wolfsburg is at 14 games. The Bavarians should make it 15 matches unbeaten despite their injury issues on Saturday with a victory away from home.
