Fresh from qualifying for the Champions League semi-finals, Chelsea and Manchester City clash at Wembley in the FA Cup semi-finals on Saturday.

Chelsea edged out Porto 2-1 on aggregate to reach the last four, while Man City beat Borussia Dortmund 4-2 to advance.

In the Premier League, Man City currently find themselves nine points clear at the top – 20 points ahead of fifth-place Chelsea.

Chelsea have only faced one Premier League side en route to reaching the FA Cup semi-finals seeing off Sheffield United in the previous round.

Before that, the Blues overcame Morecambe, Luton Town and Barnsley – scoring a combined total of eight goals along the way.

There is no denying that Chelsea have improved dramatically since Thomas Tuchel replaced Frank Lampard in the Stamford Bridge hot seat back in January.

In fact, the Blues have only suffered two defeats in 18 matches in all competitions under the German head coach.

On the other hand, Man City came from behind to secure a 2-1 victory over Dortmund on Wednesday – thanks to goals from Riyad Mahrez and Phil Foden.

Pep Guardiola’s men enjoyed 62% possession and racked up 17 shots in midweek, finishing the match with an impressive 90% pass accuracy.

It’s safe to say that Manchester City have had a far tougher route to the last four of the FA Cup than Chelsea.

The Cityzens have had to get past Bournemouth, Burnley, Arsenal and Manchester United to reach the semi-finals.

Still, they mad light work of Arsenal – crushing the Gunners 4-1 – before easing past Man Utd with a comfortable 2-0 win.

Head-to-head: Chelsea and Man City have already faced each other in the Premier League this term, with Man City claiming a 3-1 win at Stamford Bridge.

Chelsea have only managed to win one of their last five games against City, with Guardiola's men winning three times during that period.

Team news: Chelsea have just one injury concern heading into Saturday’s clash, with Mateo Kovacic currently sidelined.

Manchester City also only have one injury absentee. Sergio Aguero missed the midweek clash with Dortmund and is unavailable for Saturday’s match.

Both Chelsea and Man City are playing some excellent football at the moment, meaning this is destined to be a close game.

Forebet predicts that Tuchel’s Blues will score over 1.5 goals against Man City. If Chelsea’s defence remains tight, they could advance at the expense of City.
