Manchester United have won back-to-back games in the Premier League and have their eyes on completing a double over Brighton this weekend.

The Red Devils smashed Brighton at the Amex Stadium earlier this season 3-0. Scott McTominay, Juan Mata, and Paul Pogba all got onto the scoresheet for the Manchester club.

Brighton are on a decent run of form at the moment. They are on a two-game winning streak as well. Graham Potter’s team are six points above 18th-place Fulham. They must continue to collect points to further distance themselves from the relegation zone.

The Seagulls posted impressive wins against Southampton and Newcastle United in their last two games. They outscored their opponents 5-1.

Manchester United will be a far strong opponent this weekend. The Red Devils have won five straight games versus Brighton, posting a combined score of 14-4.

Potter has five names on the injury list going into the weekend. Florin Andone, Solly March, Adam Webster, and Tariq Lamptey are all ruled out going into the weekend. Forward Aaron Connolly is also suffering from an injury, but could be passed fit in time for the game.

Centre-back Phil Jones is the only player missing for Manchester United currently. The defender remains out with a long-term injury. The quartet of Juan Mata, Marcus Rashford, Anthony Martial, and Mason Greenwood are all fighting to be fit for the game.

Greenwood appears to be the furthest of the four players away from returning. Martial suffered an injury during the international break but isn’t ruled out of the game as yet. Reports on Friday have claimed Martial “could miss the game”.

Manchester United are unbeaten in four straight home games with back-to-back games finishing in wins. They have posted a +10-goal difference with 29 goals for and 19 conceded.

Brighton are unbeaten in four of their last six games away from home. They are –1 in goal difference with 16 for and 17 conceded. Although they are improved in recent weeks, Brighton should fall at Old Trafford once more.

Manchester United have won four straight games at home versus Brighton in all competitions. That run of wins should turn into five this weekend. Four of the last nine games between the teams ended in wins to nil for the Red Devils.

They should once again post a win to nil versus the Seagulls. Although Brighton are improved, they will need to go down to the last day of the season to secure their Premier League status.
