Burnley welcome West Bromwich Albion to Turn Moor on Saturday, with the visitors hoping to end a six-game winless run in the Premier League.

The Baggies currently find themselves second from bottom in the table – 14 points behind fifteenth-place Burnley.

Burnley secured impressive victories over Liverpool and Aston Villa at the end of January, before suffering defeats to Chelsea and Manchester City.

However, Sean Dyche’s men have bounce straight back, recording one win and two draws in their previous three outings.

After drawing 1-1 with Brighton, the Clarets comfortably beat Crystal Palace 0-3, before registering another 1-1 draw against Fulham.

Burnley may still be the second-lowest scorers in the Premier League this term, but they do boast the joint-best defensive record in bottom half.

With a healthy eight-point gap between them and the bottom three, relegation shouldn’t be an issue come the end of the campaign.

On the flip side, West Brom are staring relegation in the face. In fact, the Baggies have only won two of their 24 league games this season.

West Brom have managed to pick up seven draws, yet 15 defeats have kept the club in the drop zone for much of the campaign.

Not only are the Baggies the third-lowest scorers in the league, but they also have the worst defensive record by some distance.

West Bromwich have conceded a whopping 55 goals in 24 games this term – that's an average of just under 2.3 goals per game.

Worse still, the Baggies have conceded a goal in each of their previous 15 away games in all competitions.

Head-to-head: Burnley and West Brom played out a dull goalless draw in the reverse fixture at the Hawthorns back in October.

The teams picked up a win each during the 2017/18 Premier League season, with both sides winning away from home.

Team news: Johann Berg Gudmundsson looks set for another spell on the sidelines, although key duo Chris Wood and Ben Mee are likely to return for Burnley this weekend.

As for West Brom, Kieran Gibbs is currently sidelined, while Grady Diangana, Robert Snodgrass and Lee Peltier are also doubts.

If the previous meeting between these two sides is anything to go by, we are in line for another low-scoring draw on Saturday.

Forebet predicts that both teams will score this time around. However, the points are likely to be shared at Turf Moor.
