Juventus lost at the weekend against Inter Milan 2-0 but have won four of their last six matches in all competitions. Napoli thrashed Fiorentina 6-0 in Serie A last time out and have also won four of their last six matches in league and cup.
Juventus will be without Franco Israel and Paulo Dybala due to injury, while de Ligt, Cuadrado and Sandro could miss out due to isolation periods. Napoli’s Fabian Ruiz Pena and Victor Osimhem are in isolation right now and Andrea Petagna has been ruled out with a muscle injury.
Picking a winner for the Super Cup final could prove tricky as both teams head into this match in good form. Neither side have looked very strong defensively of late with just one clean sheet between them in their last 12 matches combined, so there is a chance that Wednesday’s final will be open, attacking and end-to-end.
However, there is very little between the two teams this season and if their last cup clash is anything to go by, then this final will be closely fought.
