Leipzig have registered recent wins against Arminia Bielefeld 2-1 in the Bundesliga and a 4-3 win away from home against Turkish Super Lig side, Istanbul Basaksehir, in the Champions League, so they’ll be bringing some momentum into this Saturday evening’s clash.
The visitors have struggled to match their illustrious opponents in terms of consistency and perhaps ruthlessness as they’ve lost three of their last eight matches in all competitions which include a 5-0 loss at Manchester United and 1-0 to PSG in the Champions League and a 1-0 loss on the road at Borussia Moenchengladbach in the Bundesliga.
Switch to results away from home in the German top flight and you’ll find that RB Leipzig have been fairly solid on their travels, losing just one of their last 11 matches on the road but it seems whenever they come up against Bayern Munich, they’re unable to turn the screw.
