Europa League Group H is wide open heading into the penultimate round of fixtures, though Celtic already know they won’t progress through to the knockout stage. AC Milan sit 2nd in the group on 7pts following last week’s 1-1 draw away at Lille. Just 2pts separate the French side in 1st and Sparta Prague in 3rd, so there is plenty to play for on matchday five.

AC Milan remain top of the Serie A table after their weekend win over Fiorentina. The hosts have won three of their last six matches in all competitions and head into Thursday’s clash as the form favourites.

Four of AC Milan’s last six matches have produced over 2.5 goals, with the Serie A side only keeping one clean sheet during that period.  Both teams have scored in four of AC Milan’s last six outings, which suggests that there will be opportunities for Celtic to score on Thursday.

The Italians have come up against Celtic on nine previous occasions, and AC Milan have won six, drawn two and only lost one of those encounters.

AC Milan have won each of the last four meetings between the two clubs, including their 3-1 win in Scotland back in October. Over 2.5 goals have been scored in three of the pair’s last five head to heads, which tells us that there should be goals in this game.

Celtic have now gone three games without a win following that shock 2-0 defeat at the hands of Ross County in the League Cup. Sparta Prague thrashed Celtic 4-1 in the Czech Republic in the duo’s last Europa League game and Celtic last league games ended in a 2-2 draw with Hibernian. Four of the Premiership club’s last six outings have produced over 2.5 goals and Celtic haven’t kept a clean sheet in their last five matches.

Ibrahimovic and Leao both missed out the weekend win over Fiorentina, but the enigmatic Swede is expected back in action very soon. The visitors have injury concerns of their own as they look set to be without the services of Griffiths, Turnbull, Forrest and Johnston for the trip to Milan.

Forebet can’t see this game ending in anything but a win for AC Milan, even if they end up playing the game without Zlatan Ibrahimovic up front.

Celtic are yet to win a game in the group stage and can’t qualify for the knockout stage, while AC Milan really need a win to keep themselves on track for a top two finish. There should be goal in this game and Forebet is backing over 2.5 to be scored, mostly in the Celtic net.
