There are four matches to be played on Sunday the 22nd of November in the English Premier League.

The final game to be played is the most anticipated of the day as Liverpool welcome Leicester City to Anfield. The hosts begin the weekend in third place on 17 points while the visitors are in first place on 18 points, so there is all to play for in this game.

Prior to the international break, Liverpool picked up a point in a 1-1 draw at Manchester City. With Virgil van Dijk missing from the back four, it appeared as though manager Jurgen Klopp decided to go all-out attack and it was working as Liverpool took the lead from the penalty spot in the 13th minute. However, Manchester City slowly grew into the game and started to take control before finding the equaliser and should have won the game but for a missed penalty.

That result means Liverpool are currently on a 7 match unbeaten run in all competitions. They have won 5 of their last 6 games but only 2 of those have come in the Premier League. Both victories came at home against Sheffield United and West Ham United, with each match finishing 2-1 in favour of Liverpool.

Trends show Liverpool are undefeated in their last 32 home games in all competitions. They have won 13 of their last 23 home league matches by a margin of 2 or more goals and both teams have scored in Liverpool's last 6 home league games.

Leicester City travel to Anfield having recorded a 1-0 home victory against Wolverhampton Wanderers in their previous Premier League match. That result means The Foxes have won each of their last 6 games in all competitions. Three of those victories have come in the Premier League, including impressive away results at Arsenal and Leeds United.

Trends show Leicester City have won all of their 4 away Premier League matches this season. They have scored 3 or more goals in 3 of those 4 games, including 4 goals at Leeds United and 5 goals at Manchester City. However, Leicester City have managed to keep just two clean sheets in their last 10 away Premier League games.

Interestingly, no defeats at half time can be found in Leicester City's 13 most recent matches in all competitions.

Team news and Liverpool's injury list continues to expand with Mohamed Salah out due to COVID-19 and Joe Gomez suffering a knee injury on international duty. They join Virgil van Dijk, Fabinho and Alex Oxlade-Chamberlain in the treatment room. Liverpool also have doubts over the fitness of Rhys Williams, Trent Alexander-Arnold, and Thiago Alcantara.

Leicester City also missing some key players due to injury with Caglar Soyuncu, Ricardo Pereira, Wilfred Ndidi, and Daniel Amartey ruled out. They also have doubts over Timothy Castagne and Wesley Fofana.

This has the makings of being a highly entertaining game with both teams finding the back of the net. However, even in the absence of Mohamed Salah, Liverpool should have enough attacking talent to outscore their opponents.
