Leicester made a winning start to life in Group G of the Europa League last week, winning 3-0 at home against the Ukrainian side Zorya.

Maddison broke the deadlock in the 29th-minute to put Leicester City 1-0 up against Zorya, and on the stroke of half-time Barnes made it 2-0.  Nigerian international Iheanacho added a third in the second half to wrap up a comfortable victory for the Foxes.

The Premier League side appear to have recovered from back to back home defeats against West Ham and Aston Villa, having followed up that win over Zorya with another 3pts away at Arsenal. Veteran forward, Jamie Vardy, scored the only goal of the game against Arsenal 10-minutes from time to earn Leicester an impressive away win.

Leicester have now kept clean sheets in each of their last two matches and will be confident of keeping a third in Greece. The Foxes have won each of their three away games this season, all in the Premier League, keeping clean sheets in two of those away trips.

Over 2.5 goals have been scored in three of Leicester’s last five matches, and the Foxes have netted three or more goals on the road in two of their three away games.

Athens went down 3-0 at the Estadio Municipal de Braga in game week one of the Europa League. Galeno put Braga in front just before the interval and Paulinho and Ricardo Horta added further goals late in the second forty-five. In the end, Athens were well beaten by the Portuguese club and will be expecting an even tougher 90-minutes when they play host to Leicester on Thursday.

The Greek side have made a decent start to the new season, picking up 10pts from their opening five matches. However, Athens have lost two of their last four matches in all competitions and have failed to score in each of those defeats.

The Greek club dropped points,in their last home game, drawing 1-1 with PAOK. Over 2.5 goals have been scored in three of Athens’ last six matches in all competitions.

Forebet is backing an away win for Leicester as the Foxes have too much firepower for Athens to handle. Last week’s results in the Europa League suggest that the top two places in Group G are going to be taken by Leicester and Braga.

The Foxes look strong on the road and should create plenty of chances to win and keep a clean sheet in Greece.
