Fulham will be aiming to claim their first Premier League win of the season when Crystal Palace visit Craven Cottage on Saturday.

Scott Parker’s side are rock bottom of the table, after picking up just a single point from their opening five games this term.

Meanwhile, Crystal Palace find themselves fourteenth, having secured seven points from a possible 15 so far.

Heavy defeats to Arsenal (3-0), Leeds (4-3) and Aston Villa (3-0) saw Fulham conceded a combined total of ten goals across their first three games.

The Cottagers managed to only lose 1-0 to Wolves on Matchday 4, before sealing their first point of the campaign against Sheffield United last weekend.

Fulham enjoyed 59% possession at Bramall Lane and managed to rack up 15 shots (six on target). But despite Ademola Lookman giving them the lead, a late Billy Sharp penalty saw the points shared.

You probably won’t be surprised to hear that Fulham have the second-worst defensive record in the division, having conceded 12 goals in five games (2.4 goals per game).

On the flip side, Crystal Palace started off with victories over Southampton (1-0) and Manchester United (3-1). But it’s been all downhill since then.

The Eagles were beaten 2-1 by Everton on Matchday 4, before being crushed 4-0 by Chelsea. However, they did manage to hold Brighton to a 1-1 draw last time out.

Wilfried Zaha gave Palace the lead via the penalty spot, but that was the Eagles’ only shot of the entire game. Needless to say, Palace don’t pose a big threat in attack.

Roy Hodgson’s side are currently on an unwanted run of just two wins in 14 games in all competitions, a streak that stretches back to last season.

Head-to-head: Crystal Palace did the double over Fulham in the 2018/19 Premier League season, clinching 2-0 wins both home and away.

In fact, Palace are unbeaten in their previous three meetings with Fulham, with three of their last five encounters producing over 3.5 goals.Team news: Harrison Reed, Kenny Tete, Joachim Andersen and Terence Kongolo are all injury doubts for Fulham.

As for Crystal Palace, James Tomkins could come back into the team, although Connor Wickham, James McCarthy, Wayne Hennessey and Nathan Ferguson are all sidelined.

The Eagles have enjoyed playing against Fulham in recent seasons, so Scott Parker’s side may have to wait for their first league win of the campaign.

Forebet predicts that this fixture will again produce over 3.5 goals. However, Crystal Palace are expected to come out on top.
