Tottenham threw away a 3-goal lead at home to West Ham at the weekend, so manager Jose Mourinho will be demanding a response from his players against Austria’s LASK.
Spurs remain unbeaten since that opening day defeat to Everton, thrashing the likes of Maccabi Haifa and Man Utd along the way.
Mourinho’s men haven’t kept a clean sheet so far this season though, which is a big surprise when you consider the type of football associated with the Portuguese manager. However, Tottenham have been scoring goals for fun, netting 16 in their last three matches, which will be a concern for the visitors.
Over 2.5 goals have been scored in four of Spur’s last six matches and so far this season, Harry Kane has netted 5-goals in the Europa League. Both teams have scored in each of Tottenham’s last eight matches in all competitions, and Forebet isn’t expecting any clean sheets on Thursday night either.
Last season, Tottenham made it through their Champions League group but were defeated 4-0 on aggregate by RB Leipzig in the round of 16. Having already dismissed of Lokomotiv Plovdiv, Shkendija, and Maccabi Haifa, Spurs will be confident of securing all 3pts in their opening game of Group J.
LASK shocked many with the manner of their 4-1 playoff victory over Portuguese side Sporting, and the Austrians will be favourites to qualify from Group J behind Tottenham. Last season, LASK progressed through their Europa League group only to be dumped out of the competition 7-1 on aggregate by Man Utd.

The visitors have conceded 4-goals in their last two away games and now face Harry Kane and co in London. LASK have scored in five of their last six matches, with both teams scoring in three of those outings.
Forebet is predicting a home win and at least 3-goals to be scored in this Europa League tie. Spurs look very strong going forward, especially in Europe but are yet to keep a clean sheet in all competitions. LASK have goals in them but haven’t face a side of Tottenham’s quality since losing on aggregate 7-1 to Man Utd in last season’s Europa League.
