On Thursday night, Scotland host Israel at Hampden Park in the semi-finals of the Euro 2021 play-offs. The winner's reward will be to face either Norway or Serbia in the final.
Scotland are in superb form at the moment, as they are five international games unbeaten, having recorded four wins in the process. Their recent good run has powered them into this semi-final clash.

One of the home sides biggest problems down the years has been scoring enough goals. However, Steve Clarke’s team has been prolific of late, scoring at least two goals in four of their last five international matches. One thing that Scotland has lacked in recent games has been clean sheets, as they have kept just one in their last ten outings.
The mixture of goals scored and against has contributed to nine of Scotland’s last ten games producing over 2.5 goals.
One slight negative for Clarke’s team is their recent inconsistent form on home soil, as they have won just two of their last five international games.
Unlike their hosts, Israel have been poor of late in the international game, winning just once in their previous ten matches, while failing to win in their previous four outings. A similarity with the home team is their inability to keep clean sheets, as they have not shut out an opposition team in their last nine matches.
Israel are in the midst of a poor recent run of away form, having failed to win in five matches on their travels. To make matters worse they have lost five of those games too. Their away games have at least been entertaining of late, with over 2.5 goals scored in six of their last eight outings on the road.
These two teams met in the Nations League and drew 1-1. However, Forebet predicts that Scotland will continue their bright recent form to seal their place in the play-off final.
