The race for the Bundesliga title is proving to be highly fascinating. Two of the main contenders RB Leipzig and Monchengladbach meet at the Red Bull Arena on Saturday evening.
RB Leipzig have been the team of the year in the Bundesliga. Julian Nagelsmann’s team are top of the German top-flight but are only one point clear of reigning champions Bayern Munich in second place.
Die Roten Bullen were rolling along nicely until a shock 2-0 loss at Eintracht Frankfurt last time out ended a nine-match unbeaten run for the league leaders. Even taking that defeat into account, Leipzig have still won seven of their last nine league matches, which is title-winning form.

The home side has been lethal in front of goal of late in the German top-flight, finding the net on at three occasions in nine of their last ten outings in the Bundesliga.
Highly-rated striker Timo Werner has been the pick of the bunch in the Leipzig attack, scoring an impressive 20 goals in his 19 league appearances for Die Roten Bullen.
Unsurprisingly, Leipzig have been outstanding of late at the Red Bull Arena, recording five Bundesliga wins in a row, while scoring at least three times in all of the wins.
Monchengladbach will leapfrog RB Leipzig in the table with a victory, as the Foals trail the home side by just two points.
Marco Rose’s team have gone off the boil slightly of late though after a stellar start to their Bundesliga campaign. However, a 3-1 home win over Mainz last time out will send the visitors into this clash in good spirits.
Gladbach will need to end a four-game winless run on their travels in the Bundesliga to move ahead of the home side in the table. The visitors lost three of those four winless games in the German top-flight.
Forebet predicts that RB Leipzig will bounce straight back to winning ways by recording a victory in a high-scoring encounter.
