    Tuesday’s Action

Bournemouth claimed a vital three points by seeing off fellow relegation strugglers Brighton. Goals from Harry Wilson and Pascal Gross (OG) saw the Cherries go into the break with a two-goal lead before Callum Wilson added a third on 74 minutes. Aaron Mooy netted a late consolation goal for Brighton.

Tyrone Mings scored a dramatic late winner as Aston Villa came from behind to beat Watford. Troy Deeney put the Hornets ahead just before half time, but substitute Douglas Luiz levelled on 68 minutes. Then in the 95th minute, Ezri Kinzo’s shot deflected in off Mings to seal a stunning comeback for Villa.

Southampton continued their remarkable climb up the table with an impressive away victory at Selhurst Park. Crystal Palace failed to register a single shot on target, while two superb long-range strikes from Nathan Redmond and Stuart Armstrong gave Saints the points.

Sergio Aguero’s 73rd minute tap-in proved to be the difference between Manchester City and Sheffield United at Bramall Lane. Gabriel Jesus missed a penalty in the first half. But despite the Blades putting up a fight, Pep Guardiola’s side held on to extend their unbeaten run to seven games in all competitions.

A Florian Lejeune brace deep into added time saw Newcastle snatch a point at Goodison Park. Goals either side of half time from Moise Kean and Dominic Calvert-Lewin gave Everton a comfortable advantage, but some poor defending from the home side meant the spoils were eventually shared.

David Luiz was sent off after just 26 minutes on his return to Stamford Bridge as Arsenal twice came from behind to seal a hard-fought draw. Jorginho put Chelsea in front from the penalty spot, but Gabriel Martinelli capitalized on an N’Golo Kante slip to level on 63 minutes. Cesar Azpilicueta thought he’d won it for the Blues late on, but Hector Bellerin’s curling effort rescued a point for the Gunners.

    Wednesday’s Games

Leicester thrashed West Ham 4-1 at the King Power Stadium. Harvey Barnes and Ricardo Pereira both scored and assisted a goal to put the Foxes 2-0 up at half time. Mark Noble pulled one back just after the break before a brace from Ayoze Perez capped of a convincing win for Brendan Rodgers’ men.

Goals from Dele Alli and Son-Heung-min saw Tottenham claim an important victory against Norwich. Teemu Pukki’s penalty on 70 minutes failed to spark a comeback for the Canaries, who now sit six points adrift at the bottom of the table.

Burnley registered their first ever Premier League win at Old Trafford with a comfortable 2-0 victory over Manchester United. Chris Wood gave the Clarets the lead before Jay Rodriguez completed the scoring with a stunning strike. The home side offered very little.

    Thursday’s Thriller

Liverpool survived a scare at Molineux to extend their lead at the top. Jordan Henderson put the Reds ahead on 8 minutes, but Raul Jimenez scored an excellent header just after half time. The game looked to be heading for a draw, but Roberto Firmino’s 84th minutes strike saw Jurgen Klopp’s winning machine claim yet another three points.
