Talking about being the home side, Amiens have found little advantage to playing on home soil of late, as they have recorded just two wins in their last seven outings.
Montpellier are enjoying a pretty solid campaign in Ligue One and sit just four points outside the European places in the French top-flight. A recent inconsistent run of form has hindered the visitor’s chances of getting near the top six.
In their last league game of 2019, Montpellier at least got back to winning ways by recording a 4-0 home win over Brest. The game produced yet another high-scoring match for the visitors, as their last five league games have all produced over 2.5 goals.
If Montpellier are to mount a bid for Ligue One’s top six, then they need to improve their away form, as the visitors have now failed to win in ten matches on their travels.
