There was a small boost last time out for Javier Aguirre’s team, as they ended a five-game winless streak by recording a 3-2 home win over fellow strugglers Celta Vigo.
The visitors are poor travellers, which has not helped their chances of survival this season. They have failed to win in eight league matches on their travels while suffering seven defeats.
