On gameweek six of the Europa League, there is still plenty left to be decided. One group that still needs deciding is Group F, where three teams could still qualify for the knockout stages of the competition.
One of those teams is second-place Eintracht Frankfurt, who head into Thursday evening’s home game with Vitoria Guimaraes two points ahead of third-place Standard Liege in the race for qualification.
The German side are also still in with a chance of topping the group, as they trail group leaders Arsenal by just a point. The home side heads into this clash in poor recent form, though.
A surprise 2-1 victory at Arsenal in the last round of this competition is their only win in six games in all competitions.
Frankfurt’s form in the Europa League of late has actually been good, despite their poor domestic form. Adi Hutter’s team has won three of their last four games in the competition.

They have also won nine of their last 12 Europa League games on home soil. Their recent European games have been high-scoring too, with over 2.5 goals scored in nine of their previous 12 matches at the Commerzbank-Arena.
Vitoria Guimaraes heads into this clash having taken just two points from their five group games so far. The Portuguese club can at least go into this game on a four-game unbeaten run in all competitions, including a 1-1 home draw with Standard Liege in their last European outing.
One trend from recent Vitoria Guimaraes games is that their Europa League games have been relatively tight and low-scoring, with under 2.5 goals scored in six of their last seven matches.
The visitors have won just two of their last 17 away matches in the Europa League dating back to 2005.
Forebet predicts that Eintracht Frankfurt will record a victory in a low-scoring encounter to book their place in the knockout stages of the competition.
