This season was always going to be a tricky one for Eintracht Frankfurt and head coach Adi Hutter. The German outfit lost their three biggest attacking threats in the summer in the shape Luka Jovic, Ante Rebic and Sebastien Haller.
Frankfurt have not started season 2019/20 in a terrible way, but they could do with a winning run to get their season back on track. A home game against Hertha Berlin on Friday night seems tailormade for a morale-boosting victory.
The home side is currently tenth-place in a congested section of the German top-flight table. However, Frankfurt are just five points outside the top-six, with winning a European place is still a realistic prospect.
In truth, though, Frankfurt recent form in the German top-flight has been awful, as the home side has lost four of their last five matches in the Bundesliga. The fact that Hutter’s side has kept just one clean sheet in the league since the opening day has not helped their quest for another finish in the European spots.
Frankfurt have at least been difficult to beat at the Commerzbank Arena, as they have lost just once in seven home matches. However, that loss was a 2-0 defeat against Wolfsburg in their last home game in the German top-flight.

Hertha Berlin are in a much worse predicament than the home side. The team from the German capital recently brought in German legend Jurgen Klinsmann as head coach with the team currently occupying the relegation play-off spot.
The former Die Mannschaft boss suffered a 2-1 defeat at home against Dortmund on his debut in the dugout last weekend. The loss was Hertha’s fifth straight defeat in the Bundesliga.
All is not just yet for Hertha though, as a win in this clash could move them up the table a few spots.
However, Forebet predicts that Frankfurt will only add to Hertha’s relegation worries by seeing off the visitors in a high-scoring encounter.
