Celtic have dominated the SPL in recent history, winning title after title in the Scottish top-flight. This season though, old foe Rangers look to mount a serious challenge of the Hoops recent dominance.

In truth, this season has been the typical story for Celtic so far. The reigning Scottish champions have won 12 of their 14 league matches and have accrued 37 points.

Celtic have certainly not been complacent of late in the SPL, as they have won their last six league outings, with impressive displays at both ends of the pitch. The Hoops have been free-scoring in attack, scoring at least twice in each of those recent six wins, while conceding just one goal in the six victories.

The Glasgow outfit has been impressive on home soil, as they have won their last eight home games on home soil, scoring at least twice in all the victories.
Hamilton heads into this game in poor form, having failed to win in their last eight SPL outings. In their last league game, the visitors drew 0-0 with Livingston. Their poor recent form means that they are just a point clear of bottom place in the Scottish top-flight.
There are few signs that the Accies are capable of pulling off a shock in this clash, as they have not won in eight away games in the SPL. Another negative is that they have lost their last ten meetings with Celtic in the SPL.
Forebet predicts that Celtic will record another comfortable win, remaining prolific and keeping another clean sheet in the process.
