Real Madrid will be looking to join Paris Saint-Germain in the Round of 16 when the two teams clash at the Bernabeu on Tuesday.
The French side have already booked their place in the knockout stages and need just one point to secure top spot in Group A. Real Madrid can seal a spot in the next round if they claim all three points on Matchday 5.
Seven points from four Champions League games isn’t the greatest return, but the Spanish club still find themselves in a strong position to qualify for the knockout stages.
After a slow start to the campaign, back-to-back victories over Galatasaray mean Real Madrid are second in Group A – five points clear of third-place Club Brugge.
On the other hand, PSG have stormed through the group stage. Not only have they scored at an average of 2.5 goals per game so far, but they are also yet to concede a single goal in the Champions League in 2019/20.
Thomas Tuchel’s side are also dominating domestically and look well on course to secure a seventh Ligue 1 title in eight years. Despite losing three league games this term, PSG are already eight points clear at the top of the table.
Real Madrid have also not been at their best this season, but Zinedine Zidane’s team have still been able to pick up results. Los Blancos have only lost one of their 13 league games this term and sit level with Barcelona at the top of La Liga.
Zidane is still unable to call on injured players Marco Asensio, Nacho, James Rodriguez and Lucas Vazquez, while PSG will be without Thilo Kehrer and Ander Herrera. Marco Verratti could overcome a knee injury in time to feature.
PSG opened their 2019/20 Champions League account with a comprehensive 3-0 victory over Real Madrid. A brace from former Madrid man Angel Di Maria and a late Thomas Meunier strike ensured the French giants got off to the best possible start.

Following their standout performance in the reverse fixture, PSG will be full of confidence as they head to the Spanish capital. However, Tuchel’s men will find it much harder to take anything away from Real Madrid at the Bernabeu.
Forebet predicts that Real Madrid will claim revenge against PSG this time around. Both teams are likely to get on the scoresheet, but the home side should come out on top.
