Group J of the Europa League is one of the most open in the competition heading into gameweek four. All four teams Roma, Wolfsberger, Istanbul Basaksehir and Monchengladbach can still qualify for the knockout stages of the competition.
On Thursday night, top of the group Roma visit bottom Monchengladbach, in a game that could define both teams’ European campaigns. Both teams are enjoying promising league seasons.
In fact, Monchengladbach are top of the Bundesliga. They have, however, experienced a poor Europa League campaign so far, failing to win any of their group games, collecting just two points.
The German team picked up a point from their last outing a 1-1 draw in the reverse fixture. The Foals form in the Europa League has not just been poor this season, as they have now failed to win in their last five games in this competition, although four of the winless matches have finished in draws.

Gladbach have also won just one of their last six away matches in the competition, although four of those games in that run have been draws. Their recent away games have been low-scoring in Europe, with under 2.5 goals scored in four of their last five matches on their travels.
Roma are top of the group, but only three points clear of the hosts. A victory would put the Giallorossi in control of the group with two games remaining.
The visitors have a decent recent record in the Europa League, as they are undefeated in their last four games in this competition. In fact, Roma have suffered two defeats in their previous 13 matches in this competition.
The Giallorossi have also been hard to beat on their travels in the Europa League, as they have lost just once in eight away games.
Forebet predicts that this game will be a highly entertaining clash, ending in a draw, which will leave qualification for the last 32 of the competition wide open.
