Group C of the Champions League is shaping up to be a fascinating one. Manchester City are top, which is not surprising, while Dinamo Zagreb, Shakhtar Donetsk and Atalanta are seemingly fighting for second spot.
With Atalanta on zero points so far are facing the group leaders on Wednesday night, while Dinamo Zagreb and Shakhtar Donetsk face off in the Croatian capital, with the two teams’ level on four points.
The reverse fixture last time out in the Champions League finished 2-2 in Kharkiv. The result means that the Croatian team have a slight advantage in the group, having held their own in Ukraine.
Dinamo head into this clash in good form, as the draw against Shakhtar was the only game they have failed to win in their last six in all competitions. The hosts have also suffered just one defeat in their last nine Champions League games, although a number of those games were in the preliminary rounds.
The hosts have a pretty good home record in this competition, having won five of their last seven matches. Dinamo have also kept clean sheets in all five of those victories.

Shakhtar head into this clash on the back of just one win in four games in all competitions. Their Champions League record of late has not been great either, as the Ukrainian team has won just two of their last ten matches in Europe’s elite competition.
The fact that they have not kept a clean sheet in nine matches in the competition has not helped their results.
Shakhtar have won their last two away games in Europe’s elite competition. However, they have won just three of their last 12 away matches.
Forebet predicts that Shakhtar will regain their form and record a victory in a high-scoring encounter.
