Brighton and Hove Albion host Norwich City at the Amex Stadium on Saturday as the Seagulls go in search of their third win in four Premier League games.

Brighton picked up an impressive victory over Tottenham before narrowly losing to Aston Villa. Graham Potter’s men returned to winning ways last time out with a dramatic 3-2 victory over Everton.

Pascal Gross gave Brighton the lead against the Toffees, only for Adam Webster to score an own goal and Dominic Calvert-Lewin to put Everton ahead with 15 minutes to go. However, a Neal Maupay penalty brought Brighton level, before a Lucas Digne own goal deep in added time gifted the Seagulls all three points.

That win lifted Brighton up to 14th in the table, four points clear of the relegation zone. Things seem to be going Brighton’s way at the moment, and they will be hoping for more good luck when Norwich come to town.

The Canaries have not won in the league since their famous victory over Manchester City in mid-September. Norwich have lost four and drawn one of their five matches since then, so Daniel Farke will be desperate to taste victory on Saturday.

Despite saving two penalties in their last match, Tim Krul was unable to prevent Manchester United winning 3-1 at Carrow Road. Onel Hernandez bagged a late consolation, but Norwich now sit second from bottom in the table.

Norwich have managed to score more goals than six other teams in the division, but only Southampton have conceded more goals in the Premier League this season.

After scoring six goals in his first five appearances, Teemu Pukki has failed to find the back of the net in his last five Premier League games. Norwich rely heavily on Pukki’s goals, so his dip in form has ultimately impacted the team.

As for Brighton, Neal Maupay has scored two goals in his last three appearances and will be confident of adding to his tally of four goals for the season against a weak Norwich defence.

This will be the first meeting between Brighton and Norwich since the 2016/17 campaign when both teams were competing in the second-tier. Brighton hammered Norwich 5-0 back then, before the Canaries won 2-0 in the reverse fixture.

Brighton are the in-form team heading into this match, while Norwich appear to be struggling to cope with the demands of the Premier League.

Forebet predicts that both teams will score, but Brighton will come out on top.
