The visitors away form in La Liga has not been great of late, as just two wins out of six games illustrates. They do however have the recent history of this fixture on their side, as Atletico have beaten Alaves in the last four meetings in all competitions, without conceding a goal.
Alaves have been the very definition of inconsistent in La Liga this season so far. The home side has picked up 11 points from their 10 outings in the Spanish top-flight while winning just two of their last nine league outings.
The home side does at least have a decent recent home record, having recorded four wins in their last six league matches on home soil. The key factor in that decent home form is a solid defensive record, as Alaves have conceded just once in their last five home league matches.
This could be a tight encounter, but Forebet predicts that the visitors will nick a narrow victory in a low-scoring match to temporarily at least move to the top of La Liga.
