Inter welcome Borussia Dortmund to the San Siro on Wednesday night for Matchday 3 of the Champions League.
The home side have plenty of work to do in order to qualify from Group F. Inter have picked up just one point from their first two fixtures, while Dortmund are level with Barcelona on four points.
With that being said, Inter have been fantastic in Serie A this term. They have won seven of their eight league games this season and their sole defeat came at the hands of Juventus.
Antonio Conte’s side have been a breath of fresh air in Italy’s top-flight, and they will be hoping that they can now carry their domestic form onto the European stage.
Only Udinese have a better defensive record than Inter in Serie A. The Milan club have conceded seven goals in the league and have scored at an average of over two goals per game.
Atalanta are the only side in the Italian top-flight with a better goal-scoring record than Inter.
On the other hand, Borussia Dortmund have not been at their best this term. They have won four of their eight Bundesliga games so far (drawing three and losing one).
Dortmund are the second-highest scorers in the league, but their defence has let them down recently. Seven teams have conceded less goals than Dortmund.
However, after picking up an impressive draw with Barcelona on Matchday 1, Dortmund blew away Slavia Prague in the previous round with a completely dominant display.
Achraf Hakimi scored both Dortmund’s goals in the Czech Republic, and he will be keen to continue his outstanding form in this competition.
As for Inter, Romelu Lukaku has been their standout performer this season. The Belgian forward has already netted five goals in the league since his move from Manchester United in the summer transfer window.
Team news now and Jadon Sancho is likely to be restored to Dortmund’s starting eleven after being dropped and fined. The English forward arrived back late from international duty.

Alexis Sanchez will not feature for Inter after he picked up an ankle injury playing for Chile.
It’s set to be a tight affair on Wednesday. Both teams should score, but Forebet predicts that this match will end in a tie.
