Juventus will be looking to secure their seventh straight victory in all competitions on Tuesday night when Lokomotiv Moscow come to town.

The Italian champions sit top of Group D with four points to their name, while the Russian outfit are a point behind in third.

Juventus kicked off their 2019/20 Champions League campaign with a hard-fought 2-2 draw away at Atletico Madrid. They followed that up with a convincing 3-0 home victory over Bayer Leverkusen on Matchday 2.

On the other hand, Lokomotiv opened their account by claiming a shock 2-1 win away to Leverkusen. However, Atletico beat the Russian club 2-0 in the previous round of fixtures.

Juventus are unbeaten in all competitions this season. They come into this match top of the Serie A table with a record of W7/D1/L0.

Only Udinese have conceded fewer goals than Juventus in Italy’s top-flight, while Juve have scored 15 league goals so far (an average of just under two goals per game).

Cristiano Ronaldo has scored four and assisted one in the league, while midfielder Miralem Pjanic has scored three and assisted one.

Lokomotiv Moscow are also enjoying a successful domestic campaign so far and find themselves level on 29 points with Zenit at the top of the Russian Premier League. They have a record of W9/D2/L2.

Polish midfielder Grzegorz Krychowiak is the club’s top scorer with five league goals to his name, while Aleksey Miranchuk has netted four times this term.

This is Lokomotiv’s fifth appearance in the group stage of the Champions League. However, they lost five of their six games last season and finished bottom of their group.

On the other hand, Juventus generally don’t struggle to qualify for the knockout stages. They are the firm favourites heading into this match.

It is worth pointing out that Juve have won all three of their previous home games against Russian opposition. They scored a total of nine goals across the three matches, and only conceded once.

Juventus will be without Giorgio Chiellini, Mattia Perin, Mattia De Sciglio and Aaron Ramsey on Tuesday, while Anton Miranchuk, Jefferson Farfan and Boris Rotenberg remain sidelined for Lokomotiv.

Juventus are likely to cruise to a comfortable victory on Matchday 3. Forebet predicts that the home side will claim all three points while keeping a clean sheet.
