In recent years, Torino and AC Milan have been hard to separate in Serie A action. In fact, four of their last five meetings have finished in draws. The pair renew acquaintances on Thursday night at the Stadio Olimpico Grande Torino.
In truth, the two teams have started the new Serie A campaign in similar fashions. Both teams have picked up six points from their opening four matches in the Italian top-flight.
After winning their opening two Serie A matches, Torino have now suffered back-to-back league defeats against Lecce and last time out a 1-0 defeat at Sampdoria. The home side could not have started the campaign in an any more inconsistent fashion.
It is hard to fault Torino for their entertainment value in Serie A of late though, despite the inconsistency, as there have been over 2.5 goals scored in six of their last seven league outings.
The fact that Torino have not kept a clean sheet in their last eight Serie A games always adds to the fun for the neutral anyway.
Milan opened their campaign with a 1-0 defeat at Udinese. However, things seem to be looking up for the Rossoneri, when they recorded two straight league wins over Brescia and Verona. Alas, a 2-0 home defeat against city rivals Inter last time out ended hope of stringing together any sort of long winning run.
Unlike their hosts, Milan’s games this season have been tighter, more low-scoring affairs, with under 2.5 goals scored in all four league matches this season.
Milan have a decent recent away record in the Italian top-flight, winning three of their last four matches. Their recent away games in Serie A have been low-scoring, with under 2.5 goals scored.

The above stat is unsurprising and Forebet is predicting another draw in another low-scoring encounter.
