The UEFA Champions League returns on Tuesday and Inter Milan welcome Slavia Prague to the San Siro in Group F.

The two teams have not previously faced each other in this competition so we could be in for an exciting match.

Inter are undoubtedly the favorites heading in the tie but Slavia Prague will be looking to cause an upset in their first Champions League match since 2007/08.

The Red and Whites failed to qualify from their group that season but have a vast amount of European experience having featured heavily in the UEFA Cup and Europa League in recent years.

Slavia Prague were knocked out of the Europa League last season at the quarter-final stage following defeat to eventual champions Chelsea and the Czech side will be eager to make their mark on the Champions League this year.

Inter Milan won the Champions League in 2010 and claimed back-to-back European Cup triumphs in 1964 and 1965.

This is the Italian clubs second consecutive season back in Europe's premier club competition following a six-year absence.

Inter have made an impressive start to the season and have won all three of their Serie A matches so far.

Antonio Conte’s men have scored seven league goals while conceding just once and currently sit two points clear at the top of the Serie A table.

Slavia Prague are also flying in the Czech First League after going unbeaten in their first nine domestic matches.

After scoring 19 goals and conceding just twice, Slavia boast an impressive goal difference of +17.

Inter Milan and Slavia Prague are joined in Group F by European heavyweights Barcelona and Borussia Dortmund.

With Barcelona and Dortmund regarded as the favorites to progress from the group, the matches between Inter and Slavia will be fiercely contested as neither side will want to lose ground of the top two.

Inter should have too much quality for Slavia, and the Italian club is expected to come away with a victory on Thursday.

The addition Romelu Lukaku and Alexis Sanchez has bolstered the squad’s attacking options significantly, and the team also looks extremely strong in defence.

Forebet predicts that Inter Milan will claim the win points while also keeping a clean sheet.
