Sevilla have made a promising start to the new La Liga campaign, winning both of their league matches in season 2019/20. On Friday night, the team from Andalusia could make it three wins out of three in the Spanish top-flight when they host Celta Vigo at the Sanchez Pizjuan.
Julen Lopetegui’s side has kicked off the campaign with away wins at Espanyol and last time out Granada. The wins mean that the home side are now unbeaten in four La Liga matches dating back to last season. They have also kept clean in their last three league outings in three straight victories.
Sevilla have a strong recent home record in the Spanish top-flight, winning four of their last five La Liga games at the Sanchez Pizjuan.

The Andalusian side has achieved these victories by virtue of their attacking firepower, scoring at least twice in four of their last five home matches. Seven of Sevilla’s last ten home matches have also produced over 2.5 goals.
Despite their good start to the campaign, the home side cannot afford complacency, as they have suffered defeat in two of their last three meetings with Celta Vigo.
Celta endured a poor campaign last season. They have made a mixed start to the new season, as they lost 3-1 against Real Madrid on the opening weekend, only to record a very creditable 1-0 win over Valencia last time out.
The victory over Los Ches ended a three-game winless run for Celta, who will be looking to steer clear of the fight for survival this season.
The visitors recent away form was part of their struggles in La Liga last season, as they have failed to win in 12 matches on their travels, suffering eight defeats in the process.
Unfortunately for Celta, Forebet predicts that they will suffer another bad away day, losing in a high-scoring encounter.
