On Sunday afternoon, two of the top teams in the Swedish Allsvenskan as AIK Fotboll host Malmo at the Friends Arena.
Despite the Swedish top-flight league campaign only being 12 games old, this clash could be pivotal in the race for the title and also the European spots.
Malmo are in the driving seat at the top of the table, as the visitors are top of the table by six points, with Djurgarden and the home side in second and third respectively. However, an away win in this clash could change everything in the race for the Swedish top-flight crown this season.

One of the key factors in Malmo’s good season so far has been their attacking prowess. The visitors are the top scorers in the Allsvenskan, scoring 25 goals in their 13 league outings so far.
Veteran striker Markus Rosenberg has been in superb form for Malmo, scoring seven times in 11 appearances this season. The 36-year-old’s goals have proven vital to the visitor's position in the table.
They have also been producing impressive defensive displays in the Swedish top-flight of late, keeping clean sheets in four of their last five outings in the Allsvenskan. In short, Malmo have been the best team in the league in both defence and attack so far this season.
All is not lost for AIK, though, the Solna-based outfit are still on the coattails of the leaders. However, they need to become more prolific in front of goal if they are to catch the leaders, as the home side are the lowest scorers in the top-eight of the Allsvenskan table.
One major positive for AIK is that they have been difficult to beat of late on home soil in the Swedish top-flight. In fact, a 2-0 defeat in their last home game against Norrkoping ended a 27-match unbeaten run on home soil for AIK.
Forebet predicts that AIK will maintain their decent recent home record by holding the leaders to a low-scoring draw.
