Vancouver Whitecaps heads into this clash on the back of a highly inconsistent start to their MLS campaign. In fact, the Canadian outfit has picked up just 13 points in as many MLS matches this season.
A 1-1 draw against Sporting Kansas last time out means that the visitors have won just three of their 13 league games this season. One positive for Vancouver is that they have been hard to beat of late in MLS, losing just once in five league games.
The Whitecaps recent MLS games have been low-scoring, with nine of their last ten league matches producing under 2.5 goals.
The visitor's recent record on the road in MLS is not great, as although they have taken four points from their last two away games in the league, the Canadian team has won just once in seven matches on their travels in the American top-flight.
