Huddersfield Continue Search for First Win

The English Premier League resumes following the first break for European club competition this season.  There are six Premier League games to be played on Saturday afternoon and one of them features two teams in the wrong half of the table.

Leicester City welcome Huddersfield Town to the King Power Stadium with Leicester aiming to get back on track and Huddersfield still searching for their first win of the season.

Leicester come into this game having lost 4-2 at Bournemouth last week. It would be fair to say the final result flatters Leicester as they fell 4-0 down and it was two late goals which gave the score line a feel of credibility.

That was the second league defeat in succession for Leicester, who lost their previous match at home 2-1 to Liverpool.  Having defeated Wolverhampton Wanderers and Southampton following the opening day defeat at Manchester United, Leicester have 6 points from five games.

Trends show Leicester are tough to beat on home soil and the loss to Liverpool this season was only their third in their last seventeen home games in all competitions.  However, the Foxes have a good record against Huddersfield and have won each of their last four matches at home against their upcoming opponents.

Huddersfield have found life tough at the start of this season and head to the King Power Stadium looking for their first win in all competitions.

The Terriers have just 2 points to their name in the Premier League, with the draws coming at home to Cardiff City and away at Everton.  The point at Goodison was a decent result but Huddersfield went on to lose 1-0 at home to Crystal Palace last weekend, which was a disappointing result.

Facts show Huddersfield have had problems at both ends of the pitch this season.  They have scored only 2 goals in five league games, the lowest in the Premier League.  They have also conceded 11 goals, with only Fulham having a worse defensive record.

Trends show Huddersfield have won just three of their last twenty-five matches in all competitions, which is an alarming statistic.  The Terriers have won just one of their last twelve away league games and that came at relegated West Bromwich Albion last season.

Team news and Leicester will be without the suspended Wes Morgan and the defender could be replaced by Jonny Evans.  Both Marc Albrighton and Kelechi Iheanacho made an impact from the bench last week and will be hoping to start the game.  Matty James is the only player injured for Leicester.

Huddersfield Town will be without the suspended Jonathan Hogg and have several players battling for fitness ahead of the game.  Terence Kongolo, Ramadan Sobhi, Juninho Bacuna, Collin Quaner and Erik Durm are doubtful.

Leicester will see this as the perfect game to return to winning ways and they should take maximum points.  Huddersfield are struggling this season and their away form suggests they cannot win this match.
