Palmeiras host Sao Paulo on in a battle of teams in the Brazil Serie A top 10. Sao Paulo have won three straight matches. Sao Paulo have registered seven goals in the last three games and sit just one point back of first place side Flamengo. Manager Diego Aguirre's team is the only side in Brazil's Serie A that is undefeated. But can his men win a fourth straight match against Palmeiras?

Roger Machado Marques and Palmeiras have lost two straight matches. The side gave up four goals while scoring one during its current losing streak. Palmeiras have secured seven points from 12 at home this term. It places them in 14th place overall in Brazil's Brasilian Serie A home form table. The team has secured a +3-goal difference at the Allianz Parque.

Sao Paulo's away form has been great so far this term. The side has gained six of 12 points on the road. However, only once have Sao Paulo won on their travels. Aguirre's men are +2 in scoring, but the team's defence has allowed four goals away from home. Sao Paulo's last three away matches have seen the club concede goals and the team's defence hasn't kept a clean sheet since April 22nd against Ceara.

Diego Souza has tallied four goals for Sao Paulo this term. The 32-year-old has also added an assist as Sao Paulo have tallied the second most goals in Brasilian Serie A. Souza's four goals have come in just four Serie A appearances for Sao Paulo. In his last five matches in all competitions, Souza has tallied five goals. His form has been outstanding for the club, as the team averages 1.6 goals per match.

Palmeiras average 1.3 goals per match and 12.1 shots. Top scorer Willian has tallied just two goals this term. Eight other players have tallied goals for Palmeiras this term. Palmeiras' doesn't have one central goal scorer currently, which could have a long last effect on the club's ability to score. Due to the team's lack of goals and creativity, Palmeiras are looking to add new faces to the club this summer.

Sao Paulo's visit will come before any new players can be added, and the team's current form means Palmeiras will suffer a third straight defeat. Souza and Sao Paulo should have no difficulty getting goals against Palmeiras' defence, which has given up seven goals this term. The win could put Sao Paulo atop the Brasilian Serie A table.
