Valencia host Deportivo La Coruna on Sunday in the club's finale match of the season. Valencia are guaranteed a fourth-place finish in La Liga, 10 points ahead of the chasing pack. Los Che will return to the Champions League in 2018-19 after having one of their best seasons in recent years.

Deportivo, on the other hand, will spend next term in La Liga Segunda. The club has recorded just 29 points this term and relegation was confirmed weeks ago. Deportivo have allowed the most goals in La Liga with 74. Defence has been completely absent Clarence Seedorf's team. It won't get any easier on Sunday as Valencia have tallied the fourth most goals in the Spanish top-flight (63).

Despite being in fourth place, Valencia have been on a poor run recently. The side has won once in its last six matches and Valencia's away form has been dreadful. The club will have the fortune of playing at home, however. The Mestella has seen Valencia record the fourth most points in the league (39). Defensively, Valenica have allowed just 15 goals at home, which is also fourth best. Marcelino's men are +19 in goal difference playing at the Mestella.

Deportivo have not lost in their last three road games; and Seedorf had briefly turned things around at the club and there was hope Deportivo could stay up. Unfortunately, that is not the case despite strong efforts made late in the season. The club have scored just 15 goals away from home, third worst in La Liga. Meanwhile, Deportivo have allowed the most away goals with 41.

Although Valencia have found the back of the net difficult to locate in recent weeks, the club do have capable forwards. Rodrigo Moreno leads the club in goals with 16. His strike partners Santi Mina and Simone Zaza have both tallied 12 goals apiece.

Valenica have been incredibly streaky this term. The club has gone on winning runs only to follow them up with multi-match losses. Rodrigo hasn't scored in Valencia's last four matches. Mina has tallied one goal in his last six appearances. Zaza hasn't scored in his last six matches and his last goal came in March.

There is the belief that Marcelino's tactics and managerial style could have got a lot out of his players early on; but now, the squad is fatigued. Valencia went the opening 13 matches of the league season without a loss. In the midpoint of the term, the club went another nine games unbeaten.

Despite being tired, Valencia will get one final home win this term. Deportivo's awful away goal record and being relegated already will see Los Che pick up the victory at the Mestella.
