Reims and Strasbourg are set to clash this weekend to kick off the Ligue 1 action for matchday 14 on Friday night with the home side looking to chip away at the top three before Christmas after a positive start.
Will Still has once again been taking some of the headlines in France this campaign with another excellent run in Ligue 1.

He has moved his side into fifth during the early stages of the season, but his men do come into this game off the back of two defeats in a row.
Paris Saint-Germain would first beat them at home where Kylian Mbappe returned with a sensational hat-trick at the Stade Auguste Delaune, as Reims then went on to lose away to Rennes 3-1 with a finish from Oumar Diakite once more.
This does, however, also mean six goals let in from just two games.
Reims last win now came against Nantes at the start of November, as Junya Ito netted in an away win.
Although there was an international break in between the month of November, this run does now mean almost a month without the taste of a victory for the Reims.
Nevertheless, they are still in solid form across the season, and they are only adrift of Monaco in fourth by four points and behind Lille in fifth by only three.
A spot inside the top four is more than doable for Still’s side before Christmas, but they have to return to winning ways quickly, given the hectic nature of the winter period across European football.
Further wins this season have seen Lorient, Lyon, Montpellier and Clermont Foot all fall to defeats at the hands of Reims, while they've also got a win away to Lille this season.
The club are also coming into this match with 18 goals let in and 18 scored of their own in Ligue 1, which says a lot about their campaign so far.
As for Strasbourg, they are down in 13th and struggling once again in 2023/24 with just 10 goals scored and only three wins on the board.
They did get a commendable draw against Marseille last time out, drawing with them 1-1 after having seven shots on target.
Nevertheless, a fight to get inside the top half and away from the relegation zone looks to be on the cards for the club once more this season.
