Having already qualified for the Champions League knockout phase, Bayern Munich welcome Copenhagen to the Allianz Arena on Wednesday.

With two group games remaining, the German giants boast a 100% record and find themselves eight points clear of second-placed Copenhagen in Group A.

Given that Copenhagen, Galatasaray and Manchester United are separated by a solitary point, the Danish club will be eager to pick up a positive result in Bavaria.

Bayern Munich claimed a 1-0 victory over FC Koln last time out, courtesy of another goal from Harry Kane, who preserved his side’s unbeaten record this season.

Kane has now bagged 22 goals and seven assists in 17 appearances for Bayern, including four goals in as many Champions League games.

Not only have the Bavarians won all four of their UCL matches this term, but they have also won each of their previous 17 group games in the competition.

It’s the fifth year in a row and eighth time in history that Bayern have won their opening four Champions League matches, remaining unbeaten in their last 38 group games.

Meanwhile, Copenhagen suffered a shock 2-1 defeat to Viborg last time out, despite racking up 67% possession and 21 shots away from home.

Still, the Lions remain two points clear of second-placed Brondby in the Danish Superliga, having won 10 of their 16 league matches this season.

In the Champions League, Copenhagen have recorded one win, one draw and two losses this term, scoring seven goals while conceding eight.

It is worth noting, however, that Copenhagen have lost only two of their last 11 UCL matches, avoiding defeat in the first half of each of their previous 13 outings.

Head-to-head: Bayern Munich and Copenhagen met for the first time last month, with the German giants winning 2-1 in the Danish capital.

Lukas Lerager gave the hosts the lead on 55 minutes, but the Bavarians turned things around via goals from Jamal Musiala and Mathys Tel.

Team news: Bayern Munich’s injury list features Matthijs de Ligt, Gabriel Marusic, Tarek Buchmann and Jamal Musiala, with Manuel Meuer back in the squad.

On the flip side, Copenhagen look set to be without the injured trio of Birger Meling, William Clem and Davit Kocholava for the foreseeable future.

Copenhagen offered some resistance in the reverse fixture, but Bayern Munich are expected to cruise to a comfortable win on home soil.

Forebet predicts that Bayern will score over 2.5 goals and keep a clean sheet on Wednesday, notching their 18th consecutive UCL group-stage victory.
