Coritiba are rooted to the foot of the Brazilian Serie A table ahead of Saturday’s showdown with Santos at Estadio Major Antonio Couto Pereira.
With nine games in the books, Coritiba find themselves three points adrift at the bottom of the standings, having failed to taste victory in the league this season.

Santos, on the other hand, occupy 12th place – nine points above Coritiba – having recorded three wins, three draws and three losses this term.
Coritiba head into Saturday’s clash on the back of a 3-1 defeat at Palmeiras, with Alef Manga scoring a consolation goal in the 83rd minute.
Following last weekend’s loss, Coritiba have failed to win any of their nine league encounters this year, recording three draws and six defeats.

Given that Coritiba have failed to notch a single league victory this season, Santos are expected to claim all three points on Saturday.
