Leeds United’s Premier League life goes down to the final day of the season. The Whites are two points off 17th-place Everton in the fight for survival.

Tottenham Hotspur are ready for a poor season to come to an end. Hopes were high in August that this could be a season with silverware. Yet, Spurs have once again failed to win a trophy and are in search of a new manager.
Spurs’ poor season took a turn for the worse in recent weeks. The team is on a two-game losing streak and is eighth in the standings. Spurs need to win on Sunday and hope Aston Villa drop points to qualify for next season’s Europa Conference League.
Both teams have plenty to play for on the final day of the season. Spurs’ desire to achieve seventh place and play Conference League football next season is debatable, however.
The reverse fixture between Leeds and Tottenham was brilliant. The game finished with seven goals, as Spurs came from behind three times to win the match 4-3. The last two matches between the teams saw Spurs score four goals.
Neither team is in form. Both clubs find themselves at the bottom of the current form table. Spurs took four points from the last six matches. Rumours of Harry Kane leaving the club have intensified, with every Tottenham loss.
Leeds United took a mere two points from their last six matches. Manager Sam Allardyce has not turned the team around since arriving. He has obtained just one point in three matches in charge. The team scored four goals in those three fixtures.
Allardyce will be without Stuart Dallas, Luis Sinisterra, Tyler Adams, and Junior Firpo for the final day of the season. Strikers Patrick Bamford and Rodrigo are major doubts to play due to injury. Leeds will play at home, which could provide the spark needed to win.
Tottenham interim manager Ryan Mason won’t have the service of Ryan Sessegnon, Hugo Lloris, or Rodrigo Bentancur due to their respective injuries.
Defender Cristian Romero is a doubt to make the team. Midfielder Pierre-Emile Hojbjerg is also suffering from injury, and may not play.
Spurs came from behind three times in the reverse fixture to win. Although Spurs are in poor form, they have more quality in the squad than Leeds. Spurs should pick up a 3-2 win as the teams combine for goals once more.
