Relegation now looks inevitable for Sampdoria this season in Serie A after another defeat last time out before they head on the road to meet with a Udinese side sitting in 12th and struggling to get back into the top half of the table.

Sampdoria remain slumped into last place in the table with just 17 points on the board and a 10-point gap on Spezia.

There are also only 15 points left to play for, and this now means a loss for Sampdoria and a win for either Spezia or Hellas Verona will all but relegate the club into Serie B.

The main issue for the Genoa club has been goalscoring, as they have now scored just 20 goals across the entire season.

In fact, this means they are the lowest-scoring side across Europe's top five leagues, with only Elche in La Liga and Everton in the Premier League near their terrible tally of 20 goals.

The loss to Torino last time out for Sampdoria was also their 22nd of the season, and no side in Serie A has lost more. They've also drawn eight times and won only three games of their own.

It's now six games without a win for Dejan Stankovic's side, who reportedly offered to resign from the club after the 5-0 demolition from Fiorentina last weekend.

Stankovic's side have also lost to Roma, Cremonese and drawn with Lecce and Spezia ever since.

Worse yet, against Torino last time out, Bruno Amione was sent off in the final few seconds of the game and is now suspended for this game.

As for Udinese, they looked to create an upset in Serie A last time out after Sandi Lovric scored after 13 minutes to hand them the lead against a Napoli side who needed just one point to win the title.

Victor Osimhen equalised in the second half, and Napoli won the title. On the other hand, for Udinese, it was a decent point.

Udinese have now lost 10 times in the league this season and won the same amount. The Udine outfit have now scored 43 goals and conceded 41 times this season.

These two clubs met back in January at Sampdoria's ground, and it was Kinglsey Ehizibue who scored the winning goal with just two minutes left on the clock.

Forebet predicts a win for Udinese in this one and for the game to see over 2.5 goals.
