The final set of games in the FA Cup third round replays are upon us in the oldest cup competition on the planet with Accrington Stanley of League One set to welcome Boreham Wood of the National League to the Wham Stadium on Tuesday evening.

The first game between these two at Boreham was far from a classic. Two goals in a 1-1 draw was all that went down at Meadow Park with just four shots on target coming in for the two teams.

Boreham saw Lee Ndlovu score once more in what has been a fantastic campaign for him, as Ryan Astley netted for Accrington after six minutes in their only game that day.

The League One side will still be confident in winning this game despite their terrible season in the third tier this season. In January, John Coleman's men have struggled tremendously to find any sort of form.

Derby County smashed them 4-0 away from home on January 2nd, before that FA Cup draw with Boreham.

A 2-2 draw in the EFL Trophy quarter-finals would come soon after, as Accrington beat Lincoln City on penalties to set up a semi-finals battle with Bolton Wanderers next month.

Stanley finally returned to winning ways soon after with their only victory in 90 minutes in 2023 so far, as Tommy Leigh and Astley scored in a 2-0 win over Bristol Rovers.

Last weekend, Coleman's side lost to Barnsley 3-1, as Leigh scored once more in League One from the penalty spot. This terrible run of form in the past few weeks has thrown Stanley down into 20th in the table and with six wins from 25 games only.

They have also lost 12 games but let in the most goals for those outside of the bottom three with 41 goals conceded. Coleman's side have also scored just 24, and only Cheltenham Town, Forest Green and Cambridge United have scored fewer.

As for Boreham Wood, they are in 12th in the National League but got a solid draw against Notts County last time out away from home. What's more, with a 1-1 draw against Barnet and a 2-1 loss to them back on Boxing Day, it means Boreham haven't won a game since early December when they edged past Oldam Athletic in a 2-1 home win.

Accrington should have enough here. Forebet predicts a win for the League One side and for the game to see under 2.5 goals.
