On Saturday afternoon, Sunderland and Millwall go head-to-head at the Stadium of Light as the visitors look to boost their chances of promotion to the Championship.
The Black Cats have not enjoyed a great season and currently sit in 15th place in the Championship table, just four points above the relegation zone.

However, the north east side has a game in hand on the teams in the drop zone. A win in this clash could move them as high as tenth place, depending on the margin of victory.
A Sunderland win is not out of the question either, as Tony Mowbray’s team has won two of their last three games in the English second tier.
The Black Cats have struggled for wins on home soil of late, though, as they have won just once in their last five home games in the Championship. They have also suffered back-to-back home defeats against Burnley and Cardiff.
The Lions are enjoying a promising season and are currently in the play-off spots in the Championship table. However, they are seven points off the automatic promotion spots in the second tier.
Although Gary Rowett’s team is unbeaten in their previous three games, a 4-2 win at Preston last time out ended a mini three-game winless run for Millwall in the Championship. The game also ended a three-game goal drought for the Lions in the league.
Millwall’s recent away record has been mixed, as they have lost just one of their previous five away games in the Championship.
However, on the flip side, the Lions have also recorded victories in just two of their last 16 away games in the Championship.
Forebet predicts that Millwall will consolidate their position in the play-off spots by recording a victory in a low-scoring encounter.
