On Sunday afternoon, Lille hosts struggling Angers at the Stade Pierre-Mauroy as Angers look for a rare Ligue One victory.
LOSC have experienced an inconsistent campaign of late in the French top-flight and currently sit in seventh place in the table, four points adrift of the European places.
Paulo Fonseca’s team heads into this game on the back of taking just a point from their previous two matches in Ligue One.

Their recent low-scoring games have been unusual for Lille, as their last two league games have produced under 2.5 goals. However, nine of their previous 12 matches in the French top flight have produced over 2.5 goals.
Lille can at least say that they are unbeaten in four home games in Ligue One. A 1-1 draw against Rennes in their last Ligue One game ended a three-match winning run on home soil for LOSC.
Their recent home games in the league have been high-scoring, though, with over 2.5 goals scored in seven of their previous nine matches.
The visitors have made a woeful start to the Ligue One campaign and currently sit rock bottom of the French top flight, having collected just eight points from their opening 14 league matches this season.
A 2-1 home defeat by Lens in their last Ligue One game was their sixth straight loss in the French top-flight. The game also saw Angers concede at least two goals for the sixth consecutive league game.
The visitors have been poor travellers of late in Ligue One, as they have won just one of their previous 16 away matches in the French top flight. That poor away run includes losing four of their last five league games on their travels.
Forebet predicts that Lille will record a comfortable victory in a high-scoring encounter to boost their chances of moving back into the league’s European spots.
