Two sides looking to establish themselves as serious threats to the top three will meet this season as the much-improved Lorient plays hosts to Lille at the Stade du Moustoir this Sunday afternoon with the away side coming into this one seventh in the league.
So far, it's been a stunning season for Lorient. The club have managed to swap relegation rights in the early doors of the Ligue 1 campaign for a fight right at the top of the table as they are sitting third right now with just one defeat on the board and the same amount of wins as second-placed Marseille.

In fact, Lorient are sitting just three points behind Paris Saint-Germain at the top.
Régis Le Bris' side have also managed to score 17 times this season already, with them defeating Auxerre 3-1, Nantes 3-2 and Lyon 3-1 all within the past three games.
In fact, the only loss so far this season has come in a 5-2 defeat to Lens back on matchday three of the campaign, with Toulouse also drawing with them 2-2 in another game.
Further victories for the in-form Lorient have seen them beat Clermont Foot, Rennes and Ajaccio.
Their only major concern will be the fact they've still let in 12 goals already from just eight games and with 17 scored themselves.
Nevertheless, Lorient look like an entirely different beast this season and the fears of relegation are not even in the question right now with such a comfortable position in the top three against all the odds.
As for Lille, they cannot seem to find any sort of consistency. The club beat Toulouse 2-1 last time out as Jonathan David scored once again for his side, not long after defeating Montpellier 3-1 away from home.
However, with a 2-1 loss to Nice before that win and a 2-1 loss to Marseille before beating Toulouse, Lille are yet to win two games on the spin this season.
Much of their form has come from poor defensive work as well, and it wasn't too long ago that they were hammered 7-1 by PSG on home soil.
In fact, Lille are yet to have a clean sheet this campaign with them also drawing 1-1 against Nantes and beating Auxerre 4-1.
Forebet predicts another win here for Lorient. The club looks too good right now and Forebet predicts them to win here and see over 2.5 goals in another Ligue 1 game.
