Arsenal will be looking to continue their winning start to the Premier League season when they welcome Leicester City to the Emirates Stadium on Saturday afternoon.

The Gunners claimed a 2-0 victory over Crystal Palace on Matchday 1, meaning they are one of eight teams on three points at the top end of the table.

Meanwhile, Leicester were held to a 2-2 draw by Brentford last time out. As a result, they find themselves two points behind Arsenal in the early standings.

Can Mikel Arteta’s side kick off the campaign with back-to-back wins? Or will Brendan Rodgers’ team spoil the party at the Emirates? It’s time to take a closer look at the teams.

Let’s start with the hosts, Arsenal, who beat Crystal Palace thanks to a first-half strike from Gabriel Martinelli and a second-half own goal from Marc Guehi.

Both sides registered ten shots – two of which were on target – but the Gunners made the most of their opportunities.

Thanks to a solid home run at the end of the previous campaign, Arsenal have lost just three of their last 18 Premier League games at the Emirates.

It is also worth noting that Arteta’s side have score at least two goals in each of their past three home league games, so they will be confident of outperforming Leicester.

As for Leicester, they looked destined to claim all three points against Brentford before conceded two second-half goals to throw away two points.

Goals from Timothy Castagne and Kiernan Dewsbury-Hall put the Foxes in command, but strikes from Ivan Toney and Josh Dasilva saw the Bees snatch a point.

Rodgers’ team have struggled on their travels in recent times, winning just two of their previous 14 away games in the Premier League.

It is worth pointing out, however, that both teams have scored in each of Leicester’s past six away games in the Premier League.

Head-to-head: Arsenal did the league double over Leicester last season, winning 2-0 at the King Power Stadium before notching the same score on home soil.

When you look at the bigger picture, the Gunners have lost just one of their previous six meetings with the Foxes – sealing four wins and one draw.

Team news: Arsenal will be without the injured duo of Fabio Vieira and Emile Smith Rowe for their second game of the season.

Leicester have three injury absentees, with Ricardo Pereira, Ryan Bertrand and Harvey Barnes set to miss Saturday’s clash.

Although Leicester showed glimpses of promise against Brentford, Arsenal were far more impressive in their win over Palace.

With that in mind, Forebet predicts that Arsenal will claim all three points on Saturday. Both teams are expected to score, but the Gunners should come out on top.
