North Macedonia will welcome an in-form Georgia side to the Todor Proeski National Arena on Wednesday evening with the winner of either game here set to move to the top of this Nations League League C Group 4 setup.

For Georgia, a mere draw is needed to remain top of the table as they are currently boasting of a perfect score in the group so far with two wins, nine goals scored, and just two conceded. It leaves them with eight points compared to the four of North Macedonia, as the two nations have begun to create an early two-horse race.

Georgia are also in arguably the best form they've shown in recent history right now, as they have moved to a six-game undefeated run - something they've barely been able to do this decade.

Willy Sagnol's men kicked things off with a win over Kosovo and a fantastic victory over Sweden back in November, before moving to the March internationals where they edged past Bosnia and Herzegovina away from home, before a goalless draw with Albania.

Fast forward to the start of this Nations League campaign, and while most nations have been slugging it out with exhaustion and the desperation for a much-needed break, Georgia have run riot early on.

The hosting of the seemingly always-beatable Gibraltar was up first, as Khvicha Kvaratskhelia, Guram Kashia, Georges Mikautadze, and Valeri Qazaishvili all scored a goal each in the easy 4-0 win.

Bulgaria were up next on Sunday, and despite letting in two, Kvaratskhelia and Qazaishvili got another goal each alongside Budu Zivzivadze and Zuriko Davitashvili in a 5-2 victory for the Georgians.

North Macedonianat, however, have been in topsy-turvy form during the same period. The nation registered their most famous ever result back in March by defeating Italy in Rome to prevent them from returning to the World Cup, but a 2-0 loss to Portugal in the final was not enough to see them make it to Qatar.

Igor Angelovski's men also drew with Bulgaria on the opening day of Nations League action this time last week, with Milan Ristovski's equaliser being enough to see them get a draw at the Ludogorets Arena.

North Macedonia then travelled to Georgia, and Enis Bardhi and Boban Nikolov's goals were enough to win the game 2-0, as they saw 73% of the ball in that game. Against Georgia, not much separates them on paper, and Forebet predicts a draw here and for the game to see under 2.5 goals.
