Erling Haaland will take centre stage as he and his Norway team travel to Sweden where they will play out their second game in the group stages of the Nations League with both sides coming off the back of convincing wins in the opening gameweek.

Before a ball was kicked in this Nations League League B Group 4 division, it was expected that both Norway and Sweden would fight amongst themselves for the top spot and automatic promotion into League A.

Fast forward to this second gameweek, and both nations have won their opening game which now sets up this encounter beautifully to see who can move to the top of the group early on, as Serbia and Slovenia continue to fight for third and fourth.

Norway met with Serbia in midweek, and it took only 26 minutes for new Manchester City man, Erling Haaland, to get the job done and score the game's only goal.

The sensational 21-year-old now has 16 goals from 18 caps already for Norway, as he now moves to being the second-highest active scorer in the Norwegian squad behind Joshua King’s 20 goals.

This win for Ståle Solbakken's side has also extended their unbeaten run to three games since losing to the Netherlands, with them easing past Slovakia 2-0, before registering one of their best ever results against Armenia, as Haaland, King, and Alexander Sorloth got at least a brace each in a 9-0 victory.

Sweden, who are narrowly ahead of Norway in the table because of their better goals scored after one game, are coming off the back of defeating Slovenia 2-0 in their Nations League opener.

Emil Forsberg bagged from the spot, before Dejan Kulusevski continued his excellent goals contribution for the season, with him sealing the deal minutes before time with a smart goal.

This Nations League group for both sides is very important all of a sudden with both of them missing out on World Cup qualification.

The Swede's brutally lost 2-0 in their play-offs final against Poland to see who could make it to Qatar this winter.

As for Norway at the World Cup, a place at the finals was never really on the cards as they finished third in their group and five points behind the Netherlands, who they trailed throughout the entire campaign.

They did almost get past Turkey into the play-off spots, but even then they finished three points behind. There’s now going to be very little separating these two Scandinavian sides, and Forebet predicts a draw and for the game to see under 2.5 goals.
