Next, we take a look at the Swedish top flight and the upcoming Allsvenskan clash between 2nd placed Hacken and their 9th placed visitors, Sirius, when the two teams meet at the Bravida Arena in Goteborg with the hosts looking to take over at the top of the division with a win here this Saturday.
Hacken sit level on points with the joint league leaders, Hammarby, along with 3rd placed AIK heading into this weekend’s fixtures and having won their last four games on the trot with victories gained over Varberg, Varnamo, Kalmar and most impressive of all, a 2-1 win away from home at Malmo, Hacken look set for further success this weekend.

Indeed, Hacken have lost just once so far in this new Allsvenskan campaign which came in the form of a 2-0 reverse at home to Goteborg.
But the hosts have picked up six wins in the process, including four in their last six games on home soil at their Bravida Arena, so they’ll be confident that they can grab all three points on Saturday.
Sirius bring a three-match unbeaten run into this tough looking trip to the Bravida Arena where they’ll be facing their high-flying hosts, Hacken.
But the visitors also have reason to be upbeat about their chances on Saturday as they have registered recent wins against Varberg and Elfsborg as well as a draw with AIK, 2-2 away from home.
This recent improved run of results will have certainly given Sirius a welcome boost ahead of this upcoming tussle against Hacken and are in stark contrast to the visitors’ previous recent results which saw them suffer a three-game losing streak in the Allsvenskan.
Previous losses against Mjallby 3-0, Hammarby 3-0 and Djurgarden 4-0 though suggest Sirius may still be a little vulnerable, especially away from home as Sirius have found wins on the road hard to come by.
The bigger picture shows Sirius have managed to pick up just three away wins out of their last 18 outings on the road and this clash with Hacken may be a bridge too far for the visitors.
Hacken have lost just one of their last eight meetings at home against Sirius and the joint league leading hosts look set to continue this run on Saturday with a win.
