A 3-0 home win over Hertha Berlin last time out means that the visitors have now won four of their previous six games in all competitions, having suffered just one defeat in the process.
Freiburg have also been impressive in front of goal in recent months, scoring at least two goals in six of their last nine matches in all competitions.
The visitors have won four of their last five matches in this competition, claiming three victories in 90 minutes and one in extra time, while suffering one defeat.
